I want Brewhouse to build my web site, but I have my own web hosting. Can you still work with me?
- Yes. If your hosting plan meets the specifications we require to assure smooth operation of your site, this should not be an issue. We will need full access to your account to install the site.
I like my current web site but I would like Brewhouse to help me revise or upgrade it. Can you help me?
- In most cases, yes. We will have to look at your situation and determine a cost. Oftentimes, it’s more affordable (in the long run) to duplicate your entire site within our own platform. This way, you can do much of your own editing in the future.
All of your packages seem to be beyond my budget. Can you do anything simpler?
- Short answer is yes – provided your expectations match your budget . Keep in mind though, our services are priced to provide tremendous economy for the value we offer and we are very flexible with payment options.
How much should I expect to pay for hosting after the first free year?
- We bundle hosting with maintenance to offer you the best service and value. If for some reason you don’t want maintenance with the hosting, you can expect to pay around $20/month on one of our preferred servers.
I need several email accounts set-up and am not comfortable with technical direction. Can I talk to someone to walk me through it?
- With our maintenance retainer, you have a good bit of person-to-person access with our technical support.
Can I move my hosting after the first year?
- If you really want to, sure. We would be sorry to lose you but we never stand in the way of your decision provided you account is current. Unless the site is data-driven, we will zip your site and send it to you free of charge. Expect a modest transfer fee otherwise.
What if I choose to take my web business elsewhere? Are there any strings attached.
- Once paid for, your site assets are yours. All graphics, programmed pages, relevant data, etc. will be zipped and sent at your request. We never quarrel about ownership unless we’ve agreed to other arrangements.
I want to have ownership of my entire domain name. Is this a problem with Brewhouse?
- Not at all. For your convenience though, we like to be listed as your technical contact.
What are your payment options and requirements?
- We need to collect at least one third of the site development cost before production begins. The second third will be billed after your first review on the development server, and the balance is due prior to launch. Maintenance retainers are billed quarterly.
Do you offer offline marketing design like brochures, ads, displays, direct mail, etc.? Printing?
- Yes to all, and more. Just tell us what you have in mind and we’ll create a plan and get you competitive printing quotes as well.
What if I use an agency or another designer? Do I get a discount?
- In most cases, yes. If your designer provides us with web-ready files and quality direction, you can expect to get 10 - 20 percent off the package price.
We are an agency without in-house web developers but can handle everything else. Do you have agency rates for your programming services only?
- We have several agencies as clients and can work out special pricing arrangements with you as well.
I am a designer with limited programming skills. Can I use Brewhouse web packages to resell to my clients?
- Absolutely! We can also be as transparent as you need and personally train you on the admin areas of the sites you design.
Can I substitute the web tools in your Grab Bag with the ones I originally purchased?
- Yes you can... but only as a retainer client.
What if I don’t like the design and direction you’ve presented in the beginning? Am I stuck with something I don’t like?
- Based off our collaboration with you and our sensitivity toward pleasing you, you will have ample time to get what you desire. When you provide honest feedback and actively participate in the process, you will not be disappointed.
How long does it normally take you to produce a live web site?
- There is no stock answer for this and so much is established in the planning. Essentially, you would tell us what you need in terms of a launch date, and we would set a timeline of deliverables.
I need to sell my products online and can’t find my way around e-commerce...What can I expect to pay for professional assistance?
- Because of all the details, we always figure in hours of education to e-commerce solutions... even for skilled clients. Expect that 5-6 hours of education would already be paid for. If more time is needed, we can also determine your level of need and establish a short-term retainer to keep your payments flexible.
